The wiring harness of the automotive fuel pump varies according to the model and design, but usually includes a positive line, a negative line, a fuel sensor line (usually two lines), and a throttle sensor line. As the core part of automobile parts, fuel pump plays a key role in the fuel injection system of electric injection vehicle.
The fuel pump is responsible for extracting fuel from the tank and pressurizing it to the supply line. Work in conjunction with the fuel pressure regulator to ensure that the fuel system maintains proper pressure. The fuel pump continues to operate during engine start-up and operation, but when the engine is stopped and the ignition switch is on, the HFM-SFI control module cuts off the power to the fuel pump to prevent accidental ignition.
