Product Description
The function of the control arm on the car is to connect the wheel and the car body elastically through the ball hinge or bushing. As the guide and force transmission element of the car suspension system, it transmits various forces acting on the wheel to the car body, and at the same time ensures that the wheel moves along a certain trajectory.
For more than a century, as a part of the vehicle suspension system, the control arm allows the vehicle suspension to move up and down, while connecting the axle, hub and steering knuckle to each other and to the vehicle itself. Essentially, the control arm allows the suspension system of the vehicle to bend according to the road conditions, and can also respond to the driver's steering input. They are considered essential for a comfortable and smooth form. Some vehicles use one control arm for each wheel, while others use two (up and down).
