Working principle of reversing radar:
Most reversing radars use the principle of ultrasonic ranging. When the driver is reversing, the gear is pushed to R, and the system automatically emits ultrasonic waves from the probe installed at the rear of the car to the rear of the car. When encountering obstacles, an echo signal is generated, and the controller After controlling and processing the echo signal, the direction and distance of the obstacle are determined. Finally, the display or buzzer issues an image prompt, allowing the driver to be aware of the situation when reversing, making it easier and safer.
Astern radar system is the use of ultrasonic signal, through the control of the microcomputer in the astern radar host, and then from the probe in the process of transmitting and receiving signals, calculate the obstacle distance by comparing the signal return time, and then issue different alarm sounds by the alarm. Distance from obstacle = time difference x sound speed /2.
When the vehicle is in reverse gear, the reverse radar ECU uses ultrasonic sensors to monitor the area around the rear bumper, and if an object is detected in the monitoring area, an audible alarm device within the instrument assembly will issue an audible warning. The system can detect relatively hard solid obstacles as well as objects such as barbed wire and fences.
The detection range of the two sensors on the side is 60cm from the corner of the bumper.
In the selection of radar level timing, it is necessary to consider the nature of the measured medium, measurement accuracy requirements, range, antenna type, power type and other factors, and select the appropriate radar level meter according to the actual process requirements.
When the gear shift lever is hung into reverse, the reversing radar automatically starts to work, and the ranging range is about 0.2-1.8 meters, which is very practical for the driver when parking.
