Role of accumulator
(1) When the engine starts, provide a large current to the starter, and supply power to the ignition system, fuel injection system and other electrical equipment of the engine.
(2) When the generator does not work, the battery supplies power to the electrical equipment.
(3) When the generator generates electricity normally, the battery converts the electrical energy of the generator into chemical energy for storage (that is, charging).

There are two types of batteries used in automobiles: lead-acid batteries and nickel-alkali batteries. Lead-acid batteries have the characteristics of low price and low internal resistance, and are used in most automobiles.
