Product Description
The ball head of the balance bar (small boom) is the main component connecting the balance bar and the vehicle suspension. The most important function of the balance bar is to achieve the balance of vehicle handling and limit the body roll when the vehicle turns corners to improve the tire's adhesion to the ground.
Under what circumstances will the balance bar not work: When the vehicle is driving in a straight line on a flat road, when the left and right wheels pass through the same road bump or hole, the balance bar will not work. That is to say, when the suspension on the left and right sides moves up and down synchronously, the balance bar will not work.
Under what circumstances will the balance bar work: only when the left and right wheels pass through different bumps or holes on the road respectively when the vehicle is running, that is, the horizontal height of the left and right wheels is different, the bar body will be twisted, and anti-roll resistance will be generated to inhibit the rolling of the vehicle body. Only when the left and right sides are hung with unsynchronized movements caused by turning and cornering will the balance bar come into play.
General inspection and damage judgment method of the ball head of the balance bar: stop the vehicle and hit the steering wheel in one direction. Generally, you can directly see the ball head of the balance bar. Just pull the ball head of the balance bar with your hand and shake it, and you can feel whether there is a gap. If there is a gap, it means that the ball head is loose.
