Product Description
The installation of shock absorber buffer rubber needs some skills to achieve ideal results and protect the vehicle and shock absorber well.
When installing it, it is best to jack up the car, let the shock absorber be in a relaxed state, clean it spring, and then apply some vaseline or soapy water to the shock absorber for lubrication (engine oil can also be used).
First, compare the length of the buffer rubber, and make sure to leave a certain margin on the top and bottom of the spring. If all the buffer rubber is wrapped, the car will be very bumpy and the comfort will be poor. If it is long, cut it short, and then leave the spring with the same length up and down, in order to create the effect of secondary damping.
When driving normally, the vibration is mainly filtered by the compression and release of the springs without damping glue at the top and bottom. When encountering big ups and downs or heavy loads, the damping glue is used to increase the damping to avoid excessive impact damage to the vehicle after the spring is compressed to the end.
In addition to leaving the same width allowance for shock absorption, the left and right shock absorption should be the same, otherwise the posture of the left and right steering body of the vehicle will be different, which will easily lead to abnormal vehicle control in an emergency.
