Selection of buffer rubber
It is suggested to choose a porous buffer rubber made of polyurethane material, which buffers the impact load better than rubber material. Moreover, polyurethane materials have small plastic deformation, aging resistance and better water absorption resistance.
According to the calculated compression force PS of the spring, the height h of the bumper and the compression height 2H/3, we can design the performance curve as follows: when the bumper is in the initial compression state, the value of P increases slowly, and when it is close to the compression of 2H/3, the value of P increases sharply, which can reduce the number of times that the suspension is "punctured" when driving on uneven roads and improve the riding comfort. In this respect, polyurethane material is much superior to rubber.
