Working principle
The main function of the cylinder block sealing ring is to prevent the oil or coolant leakage inside the engine. Seals are usually installed in various holes in the engine block, such as water channels and oil channels. In winter, if the coolant inside the engine freezes and expands, the seal prevents the water plug from breaking, thus protecting the cylinder block from damage . In addition, the sealing ring can prevent dust and other foreign objects from entering the engine, ensuring the normal operation of the engine and extending its service life
Maintenance method
Regular inspection : Check the condition of the seal regularly to ensure that it is not aged, cracked or damaged. If the seal ring is found to have signs of wear or damage, it should be replaced in time.
Cleaning and maintenance : Clean the seal ring every one or two quarters, use a clean wet sponge to wipe the dust on the slide rail and groove, and then wipe it with a dry sponge to keep it clean. Avoid spraying the sealing ring directly with high pressure water gun, so as not to affect its sealing performance
