1. Visual inspection: First, open the engine compartment cover and carefully check the appearance of the water pipe of the auxiliary kettle. Observe whether there are obvious signs of cracks, wear, deformation or leakage. If any damage or abnormality is found in the water pipe, it may need to be repaired or replaced.


2. Pressure test: Use the cooling system pressure test tool to carry out pressure test on the cooling system. Connect the test tool to the interface of the water pipe of the auxiliary kettle and operate according to the manufacturer's instructions. By increasing the pressure, it is possible to detect whether there is water pipe leakage or other problems. If the pressure test shows that the pressure drops or leaks, it may be necessary to check whether the joints of water pipes are fastened or replace the damaged water pipes.


3. Temperature detection: start the engine and let it run for a period of time to observe the temperature change of the water pipe of the auxiliary kettle. Use a thermometer or infrared thermometer to measure the surface temperature of the water pipe. If the temperature of the water pipe is abnormally high, it may mean that the coolant cannot circulate or dissipate heat normally, which may be caused by the blockage of the water pipe or other faults.


4. Coolant inspection: Check whether the coolant in the auxiliary kettle is normal. Coolant should be clear, without impurities or sediment. If the coolant is found to be turbid, smelly or precipitate, it may indicate that there is water pipe leakage, corrosion or other problems.


5. Pressure release test: Check whether the pressure release valve on the auxiliary kettle works normally. Observe whether the coolant is released by gently pressing the valve. If the valve cannot be opened or the coolant cannot be released, it may be necessary to repair or replace the auxiliary kettle.
